Ag Council is pleased to welcome Reagan Denny as a summer intern through early September. She is working closely with Ag Council’s team on administrative matters including helping prepare for meetings and webinars, researching and writing about water policy, and various projects as she learns more about agricultural policy, regulatory issues, and the State Legislature.
“I could not be more excited to be working at Ag Council. The team is passionate and highly knowledgeable about every aspect of California agriculture. I cannot wait to learn from them and be a part of Ag Council’s incredible work to advocate for the agricultural community in our state,” Reagan said.
Reagan grew up in Northern California where she enjoyed being involved in a family rice and row crop operation. She recently served as a California FFA State Officer, where she traveled the state to promote the importance of agricultural education and taught the next generation of agriculturists.
Reagan will attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in the fall to major in BioResource and Agricultural Engineering. She plans to focus on agricultural water issues and intends to one day attend law school to become an attorney focusing on agricultural water rights.
Welcome to the team, Reagan!
