Ag Council Commends the Governor for this Veto
Gov. Gavin Newsom announced last night that he vetoed SB 1.

“We commend the governor for this veto and for recognizing that the measure would interfere with California’s ability to utilize the best available science in our environmental protection efforts. Governor Newsom is acting to protect California’s water supply and reliability for all water users in the state and we thank him,” Ag Council President Emily Rooney said.
Ag Council looks forward to working with the governor on legislative and regulatory policies that benefit Californians and protect our environment.
