CoBank Announces Challenge Grant to Help Fire Victims
Today is “Giving Tuesday,” an international day of charitable giving. And, as Camp Fire evacuees in Northern California continue to struggle with tremendous needs, CoBank – an Ag Council member – is generously announcing a challenge grant in an effort to encourage increased support for those impacted by the Camp Fire.
CoBank is matching any new or increased donations to the North Valley Community Foundation (NVCF) Camp Fire Relief Fund, up to $150,000.
Please click HERE to make an online, tax-deductible donation, and CoBank will be matching that donation up to $150,000. You do not need to add a specific message, just simply go to the link at the end of this message to make a donation. Or, if you prefer to mail a check, please send it to:
NVCF Camp Fire Relief
240 Main Street, Suite 260
Chico, CA 95928
Funds collected by NVCF go directly to community organizations in the midst of responding to the critical and immediate needs of those affected by the Camp Fire. Funding resources will shift to assist with long-term recovery efforts when the timing is appropriate. Only one percent of donations to NVCF’s Camp Fire Relief Fund go toward administration and distribution costs.
We thank CoBank for establishing the challenge grant to help meet the enormous needs of those suffering due to the Camp Fire. Ag Council encourages our members and friends to use the link below to make an online donation.
Thank you for your consideration, and please forward this message to your friends and family.
