Urge Legislators to Support Access to Safe Drinking Water for all Californians

SB 844 and SB 845 by Senator Monning (D-Carmel) and principal coauthor Senator Vidak (R-Hanford) establish the Safe and Affordable Drinking Water Fund to ensure safe drinking water for all Californians while protecting farmers from being subject to specific nitrate related regulatory enforcement actions, provided farmers have met other regulatory requirements.
Taken together, SB 844 and SB 845 represent a major step forward to finally achieve safe, clean and affordable drinking water for all.
