Urge the Assembly to OPPOSE AB 1603 ❌
—
AB 1603 (Shultz) would eliminate crucial pest management tools without viable alternatives and increase agriculture’s reliance on older, less precise pesticides. The bill awaits a vote on the Assembly floor.
If it becomes law, AB 1603 will undermine California’s proven, science-based regulatory process at the Department of Pesticide Regulation and create unintended consequences by dismissing science, risk and actual use.
