Ag Council announces California Natural Resources Agency Secretary Wade Crowfoot as the opening General Session speaker on March 18 during the 106th Annual Meeting. Ag Council’s Annual Meeting takes place March 17-19 at Meritage Resort & Spa in Napa, California.
Secretary Crowfoot leads multiple state efforts relating to the environment and natural resources, including water policy. He has served as secretary since 2019 and advises Governor Newsom as a member of the cabinet. Secretary Crowfoot oversees an agency charged with stewarding California’s forests and natural lands, rivers, and water supplies, as well as the ocean and our coastline. The Natural Resources Agency also works to protect wildlife and biodiversity.
